BREAKING!

In a rambling news conference today, Sarah Palin announced that she is resigning her governor's seat in July.

I gleaned from the newsconference that she is doing so because it is the best thing for the state. Like I said, she was all over the map, mixing metaphors and rambling, but it was something about wasting money. I guess that must have to do with the 15 ethics complaints that have been filed against her and her office.

So, what does this mean? She is quitting to concentrate on run for the Presidency? I think she hinted at that, but who knows what she said. I know she said the world needs more Trigs. That was weird. The world needs more Downs syndrome babies?

Is there something more sinister going on?

Her brother just said on FOX that she was tired of the stress of "defending" herself.

Oh Sister Sarah. You think that your Alaskan kitchen was hot? You have seen nothing.

Interesting. I don't know if Rich Lowry, Pat Buchanan, or William Kristol will ever be able to have an erection again.

God forbid a public official does what they think in right when they realize that because of their personal celebrity they can no longer do what they were hired by the people to do.

You hate her so much, why? Is it that she is attractive, smart, electable, or that she has a loving family and supporters who like what she says.

I see a list of things there that most people would be proud of. But not you, you just see fire and attack.

I feel so sorry for you that your life is so twisted up by your political views that you lack empathy for any other human being.

Oh well, Go Palin 2012. I would love to see a Romney/Palin ticket.

I don't hate Palin. I didn't know anything about her until she gave her speech at the Republican Convention. I was appalled at the tone and downright snotty meanness that she displayed that night, and it only got worse as the campaign went on.

Then it got worse. She was proven to be an intellectual lightweight. By all accounts she was a diva who wouldn't take direction from people who were smarter and more experienced than her. She couldn't answer the simple question "what newspapers do you read" but then somehow she said that Katie Couric was at fault for ambush journalism.

She used her family as props, then feigned outrage when others said something about her family. Her family issues turned into the "Jerry Springer Show."

I don't know if you saw the presser today, but I saw quite a bit of it. It reminded me of the self-serving "You won't have Nixon to kick around anymore."

So Palin is a hypocrite. She could dish it out, but couldn't take it.

But by all means AA. Bring her back for 2012. I would like nothing more.

I did a double take on the title of this article. I thought I read "Palin's BALLS OUT!!" for a sec or two. That really alarmed me! However, ...

If one were to hazard a guess, one might suspect that behind the scenes she was approached by a committee and given the option to leave for personal reasons or be impeached. Watch for more on this …

I agree Mody. Something is up. When you hear her entire speech, (if you can stand it), there is something afoot. I think Sarah was naughty. Rumor has it that there was a serious IRS issue. Which would actually be a welcome change from the usual Republican sex scandal.

Ethics complaints? Well she's no pillar of credibility like Charlie Rangel, Chris Dodd or Barney Frank.
